The thought to create a piece of music based on a single theme first appeared in the middle of 1993. It was not to hard to choose this theme since all earthly problems boil down to love. Doctor Küpler-Ross described 7 emotional fases every person experiences in case of loss. We interpreted this theorem to 9 coherent musical works and tried to capture our emotions in both music and lyrics. Besides the project, a number of individual songs were created on various ideas to make a full extend of the studio that was used, We've tried to combine MIDI, acoustic instruments and vocals to a more than lifelike sound. We sincerely hope you will enjoy this recording as much as we do ourselves.

Only 2 items were made of this special CD-R. Early fans only could listen to an audio cassette (9604-34501-1). The recordings were made with a TEAC-A440 4 track taperecorder. Actually 3 tracks, 1 track was used to synchronise MIDI instruments to tape. With the sequencerprogram Cakewalk 1.0 for DOS the MIDI parts were entered note for note. The sounds originated from a Roland SC-88, Korg S3, and a borrowed Roland U220 (thanks Hans). The Alesis Quadraverb GT guitar effectsprocessor was used for reverberating. Vocals were registered with a Shure SM-58 microphone, through a 3630 compressor. Mixed with a D&R mark II (6 mono, 2 stereo channels) mixing console, masterd with a SONY DTC-670 DAT recorder.
